ETPS Test Pilot, Airline Pilot & Manager
Chris is a Senior Consultant to the Company and part of the Access Aviation Team.
Since 2003 he has been responsible for producing detailed and comprehensive reports on airline operation manuals, aircraft incidents and information from flight data recorders. Chris has also been responsible for the introduction of an IATA Operational Safety Audit into a major UK airline along with responsibility for simulator acceptances and evaluations. He has also been involved as an expert witness in a number of cases relating to airport planning applications and litigation.
His primary responsibilities involve instructional, regulatory and flight safety subjects. Chris is a member of the UK Airprox Board and former member of the Air Safety Group affiliated to the Parliamentary Advisory Council for Transport Safety and the European Commercial Aircraft Safety Team.
Chris is an experienced airline manager, airline Captain and former Royal Air Force pilot whose service included flying for the Royal Air Force aerobatic team, the Red Arrows.
He is a graduate of the Empire Test Pilots School and after leaving the Royal Air Force he had a successful career with British Aerospace, where he became Chief Test Pilot.
